"Bed Bugs" Mayor Bloomberg signed New York City Council Int.57-A , a bill which establishes a Bed Bug Advisory Board to, we hope, develop a strategic plan to address and control the spread of bed bug infestations in New York City. According to the New York Times’ CityRoom:Renee Corea, co-founder of New York vs. Bed Bugs, testified at the February 24th NYC Council hearing held by the Consumer Affairs, Health, and Sanitation committees to review all three bed bug bills in legislation: Intro 57 (recently amended and renamed Int.57-A), Intro 872, and Intro 873.
